:: About Samos Island
The beautiful island of Samos is part
of the north-eastern Aegean Islands and is located west of
the island of Samos.
It has two ports: Agios Kirikos and Evdilos; Evdilos is the
harbour closest to the best beaches of the island and to most
of the villages. The central and northern part of Samos has
a dense forest, waterfalls, streams and wonderful beaches.
The little resort of Armenistis is the closest to Samos’s
forest and has fine taverns and accommodations. The fishing
village of Yaliskari is a lovely place with some taverns.
The coastline of Samos is embellished
with wonderful beaches with crystal-clear waters.
The beaches are mostly concentrated on the northern and north-eastern
coasts of Samos.
The beach at Evdilos has fine sand and crystalline waters.
Near Armenistis are the superb beaches of Messakti and Livadi
which have fine golden sand, crystal-clear waters and small
rivers forming lagoons.
Na Beach is coil up in a small bay and has pebbles and mirror-like
waters. Seychelles Beach is surrounded by rocks and is really
astonishing.
